The Bamboo For Two Cottage is locate just 40 minutes from the beautiful Waimea Canyon, 20 minutes from the Lihue airport and 8-10 minutes from the pristine beaches of sunny Poipu. Golf courses, shopping, restaurants, groceries...all within a few minute drive from the cottage.
Kalaheo is perfect home base for the Kauai traveler who wants to be in a central area where the rest of the island can be easily accessed. The nearby town of Kalaheo has several good restaurants, a market and is adjacent to the island's main highway.
Kalaheo is only a short 8-10 minute drive to the beaches of Poipu which offers everything you would expect to find in a 4 star resort area - golf courses, shopping, restaurants, snorkeling, sunset sailing or just sunning on The Travel Channel's #1 Beach in America - Poipu Beach. Year round we can almost guarantee sunshine in Poipu. That cannot be guaranteed on any other part of Kauai.
If you want to stay closer to home, a short hike thru the coffee fields takes you to a very private beach. A lovely place to spend alone time in the sun.
